Cultivating a spirit of togetherness

We have certainly heard the famous advice, “Educate your children according to their times because they do not live in your time.” What is meant is to educate the current generation according to current and future needs because times will continue to change, especially in the field of technology. This is the reason why today’s teachers must be competent in accessing, processing and creatively presenting their learning content through technological means.

The great influence of IT (Information Technology) will gradually cause a shift in the world of education. According to Rosenberg (2001), there are five shifts in the learning process, namely:

 from training to performance

(2) from the classroom to another place and at any time,
(3) from paper to “on line” or channels,
(4) from physical facilities to where to study motion design in russia – list of the network facilities,
(5) from cycle time to real time.
Still according to Rosenberg (2010), communication between teachers and students is not only in the form of face-to-face. However, it can be in the form of communication by telephone, email, internet, and so on. Therefore, the existence of technology must be interpreted as a means that facilitates and increases effectiveness and efficiency, so that humans can solve problems without any limitations of space and time.

Then according to Pannen (2005)

in the world of education there has been a shift in the learning paradigm. From initially being dependent on teachers to measuring the success of double opt-in student-centered learning ( student learning center ). In this case, teachers are no longer the only source of information, but rather as facilitators and consultants for their agb directory students. With this shift in the role of teachers, teachers must be familiar with various media and how to use them. This is what makes a teacher superior. With this excellence accompanied by the presence of the young generation that they educate, isn’t this an extraordinary potential to produce a golden generation and improve the progress of the nation in the future?
