It just happened to me..
Half of my writings on this blog are irretrievably lost!
There is no denying that it makes me very sad and disappointed.
It was a nightmare for me.
All the tiredness, research and hard work I have put into producing articles all this time just went to waste.

The good news is my articles disappeared not because my blog was hacked
However, the bad news is that this is due to a hardware Database failure at the data center and the hosting party does not want to take responsibility.
Although we have been careful enough, but disasters can happen because of mistakes and failures of other parties.
What does all this mean to me?
Because I never made a backup for this blog, it means I’m totally fucked up. Wow stress!
Since this incident, I recognize that the backup process is very important.
It’s like insurance to the blog and I really regret not making it.

I may just be missing articles and even pictures.

For now I have been using the free backup plugin UpdraftPlus.
This plugin is quite easy to use and gives us many options where we want to backup
We can choose either Dropbox, Google Drive, cloud Marketing List or Updraft Vault itself as a data storage place.
The most important thing is that we know where the backup data is stored and can be accessed when needed.
